Mountain bike trail builder

Job type: seasonal

Salary: $18 to $24 / hour, depending on level of experience

You're into mountain biking and want to get involved in trail maintenance and development? 

You just might be the candidate we're looking for! 

 

Duties:

General mountain bike trail construction and maintenance (pruning, scraping, drainage, compaction).

Construction of bridges, footbridges, wooden structures.

Shaping of technical elements (inclined bends, jumps, riprap, etc.).

 

Skills required:

Enjoy teamwork.

Versatility, initiative and reliability.

Interpersonal skills, resourcefulness, punctuality and autonomy.

Willingness to work outdoors, regardless of the weather. 

Good physical condition.

Assets:

Experience or training in trail building, landscaping, forestry, carpentry, manual felling, first aid training.

Valid Class 5 driver's license, means of transportation to work site and/or accommodation in Sutton.

 

Schedule: 

Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 36 to 40 hours a week, depending on weather. 

Available 1 weekend per month.

Duration of employment: from the beginning of May to the end of October.

Workplace: Plein air Sutton / MTB, 429 Maple, Sutton, Quebec, J0E 2K0
